General University Classrooms (GUCs) are scheduled in 25Live. The most current listing of GUC spaces with pictures can be found on the AOI Buildings & Spaces website. You can also find images and features by hovering over the room name in 25Live. Use the public searches to find GUC spaces by capacity. For instance, the 1-49 GUC's search will return spaces that seat up to 49 bodies.

Room Types

Room Characteristics are used in myWSU and 25Live to describe basic room characteristics. 

81: Standard

Rooms are equipped with: White boards (12), Projector/Screen Surface (51), Document Camera (20), Classroom Computer (61), Lecture Capture (77), Connections for carry-in devices such as laptop, Student response system capable (80) (Wireless access points are deployed to support BYOD. Tools may include TopHat, iClicker, Learning Catalytics, etc.), Phone, Infrared hearing assistive listening system, Sound reinforcement.

82: Videoconference

Rooms are equipped with: Standard classroom features, Videoconference equipment, Front/rear confidence monitor, Front/rear PTZ camera.

83: Active Learning Technology

Rooms are equipped with: Standard classroom features, Group collaboration technology at tables that seat 5-7 students (19, 39), Whiteboards available for student work (75), Instructor has capability to control student displays.

84: Flex Classroom

Rooms are equipped with: Standard classroom features, flexible tables and chairs on wheels (19, 79), Ceiling microphones.

86: Parliamentary

Rooms are equipped with: Standard classroom features, seating in a U or semi-circle.
