Standard Meeting Patterns: Pullman
The Standard Meeting Patterns, also referred to as Schedule Template, determines the times/days undergraduate courses may be offered. The Standard Meeting pattern is intended to maximize utilization in General University Classrooms (GUCs) and optimize student registration options. Courses with 3+ credits/units must be offered using all the days in the meeting pattern.
- Example: A three credit class meeting MWF must meet for 50 minutes each on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and may not be offered on just two days for 75 minutes.
- Example: A three credit class meeting TH must meet for 75 minutes on both Tuesday and Thursday and may not be offered for 150 minutes on one day.
All sections of professional and graduate courses scheduled in GUCs must be scheduled using the standard periods. Classes longer than the standard meeting time must start or end using the Schedule Template times.
Standard Meeting Patterns
Effective Fall 2020: The standard meeting pattern was updated to prevent courses taught on 4 or more days from starting or ending at the same time as a course using a MWF or TH meeting pattern. Courses taught TH were moved 5 minutes later starting at 12:00pm. This change is reflected in this table.
