SOC Notes
What are SOC Notes?
SOC Notes are notes that print in the Schedule of Classes. They are visible in Class Search and the RONet's Schedule of Classes. Departments may update these class notes at any time. Several pre-written notes are available for use, though departments may write their own notes. Schedulers may edit the SOC Notes for a course in Maintain Schedule of Classes > SOC Notes tab. First Year Focus: Note 0002
This section is for First-Year Focus students. Registration is available only through New Cougar Orientation. Remaining seats will open in August.
Distance Delivery: Note 0003
Online delivery with at least one opportunity each week for students to interact synchronously with the instructor at the original time identified above. The Instructor will define the synchronous interaction.
Hybrid/Some Online: Note 0004
Instruction is a combination of face to face and online delivery. Students will have at least one opportunity to meet in a classroom each week. The instructor will provide more information.
Flip/Rotate: Note 0005
Instruction is a combination of face to face and online delivery. Students will have at least one opportunity to meet in a classroom each week. The instructor will provide more information.

HY/SO: Every 2 Weeks: Note 0010
Instruction is a combination of face to face and online delivery. Students will have the opportunity to meet in a classroom once every two weeks at a minimum. The instructor will provide more information.
EECS: SO/HY: Note 0011
EECS will attempt to ensure some face to face instruction for the number of seats listed for this course in the Schedule of Classes. Additional enrollment may be permitted with the understanding students admitted over this limit will ONLY attend class remotely via zoom and not in-person.
Instructor via Zoom: Note 0012
Class meets in person. Instructor teaches via Zoom. Coursework is available online.
Face to Face: Note 0013
This class meets face to face in a classroom.
First Day: Note 0016
First Day course fee. Digital course materials provided by the WSU Bookie. Students may opt-out in the LMS during the first two weeks of the term.
