Building Preferences in 25Live

25Live Building Preferences by Organization & Partition

Room preferences are determined by Organization. In the case of cross-listed courses, the Parent/Owner's preferences are used. Building partitions include one or more specific GUC spaces. Use the Partition Description list in the right sidebar to see which rooms are in the listed Partition. If you wish to update your preferences, please make your Partition Preference request to your campus scheduler. 

During the next few months, we will be updating partitions to include all available spaces in Priority 3 or 4. This is necessary because the Optimizer will not assign ANY room unless it is listed in a preferred partition. 

Select the "+" to open the Academic Organization and see Priority 2-4 partitions. If no partitions are listed, rooms will not be automatically assigned by the 25Live Optimizer.

Partition Descriptions

Select the "+" to open the partition and see which rooms are considered part of this Partition in 25Live. Partitions that are not listed, such as "Tflo" or "Vden", are partitions on other campuses. TriCities partitions start with "T", Vancouver's start with "V", and Spokane's start with "S".
